The Capitol acknowledges the people of the Woi wurrung and Boon wurrung language groups of the eastern Kulin Nation on whose unceded lands we conduct the business of the University. We respectfully acknowledge their Ancestors and Elders, past and present. We also acknowledge the Traditional Custodians and their Ancestors of the lands and waters across Australia where we conduct our business.

Broadly Speaking

Contemporary feminist discussions that’ll feed your curiosity and expand your thinking.

The Wheeler Centre’s ongoing Broadly Speaking event series presents deep dives into feminism and gender with brilliant local and international feminist thinkers talking culture, media, matriarchy, law, health, sex, sovereignty and more.

We were thrilled to partner with them and RMIT Culture on three special conversations: Meaning, Mysticism and Manifestation, Rage and Dissent, and Parliamentary Privilege: Bias, Boys’ Clubs and Women in Politics.

The first of these is now available to watch below. Stay tuned for more coming soon.

Presented in partnership with RMIT Culture and the Wheeler Centre.

The Broadly Speaking series is proudly supported by Krystyna Campbell-Pretty AM and family and the Copyright Agency Cultural Fund.
